Robot Dancer — Neon World

Your Movement, Rebuilt at Monumental Scale

A participant dances inside a sensing zone while their movement is translated into a monumental neon robot across a building or grain silo in real time.

Robot Dancer — Neon World turns a participant’s movement into a giant dancing figure. A camera-based sensing system captures the person inside an interaction zone and translates their body into a bold geometric robot that can be projected, laser-traced or layered across a building, façade or grain silo. The robot mirrors the participant in real time, converting an individual gesture into a shared public-scale performance. The concept combines playful physical participation with live image transformation, projection and laser systems. One person becomes the dancer, while the surrounding audience sees architecture briefly come alive through their movement.

Creative and Technical Integration

Camera motion tracking; TouchDesigner; real-time silhouette processing; projection mapping; optional laser tracing; site-responsive façade or silo presentation.
